South Coast Ballet

Our Company is based in the South West of England, in the beautiful County of Dorset and services East and West Dorset as well as West Hampshire. We are the only youth ballet company in the world that presents four productions of classical ballet per year, in the same manner as that of a professional company. Two major full length ballets are produced each year consisting of works from the traditional repertoire as well as entirely original three-act ballets constituting 12 live performances per year, as well as guest appearances in Charity and other events. The company has two divisions which cover East Dorset (this site) Poole and Bournemouth, and West Dorset (www.dorchesterballettheatre.co.uk) Dorchester, Weymouth and Portland.

Ticket prices are kept to a low £12 Adults, £8 Senior/Youth/Concession and £5 Children, to encourage affordability and accessibility to classical ballet performances and for all people to have the fantastic opportunity to attend live theatre regularly.

South Coast Ballet's aim is to present ballet that is thoroughly entertaining, completely enjoyable and pleasing to experience for all people from all backgrounds. Our productions are 'real' and fresh and vibrant, and alive. South Coast Ballet presents its productions at the Lighthouse in Poole, the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre in Bournemeouth,and the Weymouth Pavilion Theatre in Weymouth.
